The Boogie has been hiding in the local garage under the carr of John the mechanic for the last couple of weeks… 😦

The head has been off and stripped, skimmed and pressure tested, a new head gasket set fitted, rebuilt, idle control vale (fast idle) fixed, a new water pump fitted (slight weap), and then retested with the same virtual compression test setup shown in an earlier post –

All four cylinders taking the same amount of power (from the starter motor to compress each cylinder) with no compression leakage detected into the cooling system…

So finally, after a two week stay in car hospital, The Boogie was discharged and is now tucked up back in it’s own little garage…
Time to test it and get back out and do some ‘lanes then! 😉
